Hallet's Mill Pond was created in the 18th century by damming the Hallet's Mill Brook, which flows into Bass River. The pond was used to power a grist mill and a sawmill, which operated until the early 20th century. Today, the pond is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing.
