Cathedral Ledge is a popular destination for rock climbers and hikers in Rockport. The ledge offers spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding landscape. The ledge is composed of granite and quartz and has a height of about 200 feet. Cathedral Ledge was used as a lookout point during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.
