Official WebsiteThe 43-acre property, consisting of a pond and associated wetlands surrounded by upland forest, supports a variety of plant and animal life, including typical bog/fen vegetation and an active beaver colony.
The trail is mostly level, approximately a mile in length, and can be accessed from the main parking area at the end of Quincy Bog Road or from the alternate parking area at the end of Cranberry Bog Road. It is open to the public free of charge 365 days a year during daylight hours. A trail guide, available at the kiosks in the parking areas and in the mailbox on the Nature Center porch, describes features along the trail.
