About this Location

Little Boar's Head is a coastal area that has a rich history and scenic views. It was formed by a glacial drumlin, a low steep hill, that overlooks the Gulf of Maine. It became a popular summer resort destination in the 19th century, attracting wealthy visitors who built elegant mansions along the shore. The historic district includes properties on Ocean Boulevard, Sea Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Willow Avenue, and Chapel Road. The area offers a variety of activities, such as hiking, biking, and walking along the paved and gravel trail that parallels the coast. The trail offers views of the ocean, the beach, and the wildlife. 

Little Boars Head is located on the coast near the intersection of NH-111 with NH-1A.
