About Big Bonito Creek
Located south and east of White River and Fort Apache, Upper Big Bonito Creek is accessed via AZ-73 to Reservation Y-70 and is at an elevation of 6,000 feet. There are two family camp units available. There is safe drinking water along with fishing activities. The managed Season is April to November. Trailers are accommodated. Stays are limited to 10 days. This is a fee area and permits are required from the White Mountain Apache Tribe. You may contact the Tribe’s Game Fish Department for fee and permit information.
