Birding in Arizona

About Winn Campground
Situated near the Mt. Baldy trailheads and the East and West forks of the Little Colorado River, Winn Campground is an excellent choice for anglers and hikers. Some sites border a large meadow where elk are often seen at twilight. Vegetation type is mixed conifer and aspen.

Directions from Springerville: Take AZ-261 west for two miles until you reach the intersection on AZ-261. Follow this south for ten miles. Turn off onto AZ-273 on the right. You’ll find the campground on FR-554, just off AZ-273, between Sheeps Crossing and the Phelps Trailhead.
