Birding in Arizona

About Quailway Cottage
Quailway Cottage, named for the Gambel’s Quail that are year-round residents, is nestled midway between the Peloncillo Mountains in southwestern New Mexico and the Chiricahua Mountains in southeastern Arizona.

The cottage, at a 4,500-foot elevation, is located five miles from the Cave Creek area near Portal, Arizona, on 80 acres of secluded, private land.

It is a desert haven for a variety of birds and wildlife and offers an opportunity for unlimited star gazing.
