About Morris K. Udall Park
Udall Park which is located in the northeast part of Tucson is a popular attraction for its diverse activities at the park as well as in the surrounding area. The 172-acre park includes picnic and parking areas and multi-use fields. Before the site became a park, it had been the location of the Geological Survey Magnetic Observatory since 1909. This is a public park that features a Senior Center and recreation center (indoor basketball and volleyball) with fitness facilities, indoor jogging track, and heated outdoor pool.
