Perched at the edge of a red maple swamp, this site offers a short walking trail and a boardwalk with a bench. This small and special assemblage provides roadside greenery along scenic Lothrop Avenue and helps to protect land within the Herring River Watershed. This Harwich Conservation Trust sanctuary is dedicated in memory and honor of Lee W. Baldwin. Lee was a Trustee of the Harwich Conservation Trust and a well-known Cape Cod naturalist who inspired countless people with her walks, presentations, and writings. 

From MA-28, take Lothrop Avenue 0.25 miles north to the parking area on the right.
From Great Western Road, take Lothrop Avenue approximately 1 south to the parking area on the left.
