The most productive spots to go birding at Berkshire Community College are the John Lambert Nature Trail, and the trails south of the athletic facilities. The John Lambert Nature Trail consists of a variety of habitats such as mature forests, a field, and forest edge habitat. The athletic complex area consists of the grass turf for sporting events, and is border to the south by expansive wetlands and early successional habitat.
