About North Attleboro National Fish Hatchery
The North Attleboro National Fish Hatchery produces fish to promote the restoration of imperiled native fish populations. We are currently focused on producing American shad for restoration efforts in Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

In addition, the hatchery rears native brook trout to supply on-site, local fishing derbies, and educational outreach events.
The facility is located on a 235 acre parcel and hosts an interpretive nature trail, as well as native plant and pollinator gardens to offer additional outdoor learning experiences.
