Browns Pond is a natural pond located in Peabody that covers an area of about 28 acres and has a maximum depth of 20 feet. The pond is fed by springs and runoff from the surrounding hills. Browns Pond is a popular recreational spot for fishing, boating, swimming, and picnicking. Browns Pond is part of the Ipswich River Watershed, which provides drinking water to more than 300,000 people in the region.
Local streets encircle Browns Pond. Lakeshore Park is on Lake Shore Drive on the west side of the pond.
