About this Location

Crystal Lake covers an area of about 33 acres and has a maximum depth of 20 feet. The lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, swimming, and picnicking. Crystal Lake is part of the Ipswich River watershed and is fed by several streams and springs. The lake has a history of being used for industrial purposes, such as ice harvesting and tannery operations. Today, the lake is managed by the Peabody Parks and Recreation Department and is open to the public year-round.

The Crystal Lake Conservation Land conservation property is owned by the City of Peabody. It is 21 acres.
