The Ipswich Power and Light trails are a network of hiking and biking paths that run through the town of Ipswich. The trails offer a variety of terrain, from wooded hills to open fields, and connect several historic and natural landmarks, such as the Ipswich River, the Crane Estate, and the Appleton Farms. The trails are maintained by the Ipswich Power and Light Company, which also operates a hydroelectric plant on the river.
There is trailhead parking on MA-1A for the trails in the vicinity of Dow Brook Reservoir.
