Sidney's Pond was named after Sidney Perley, a prominent lawyer and historian who lived in the area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Sidney's Pond is open to the public and offers various recreational activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, and picnicking.
South Peabody Trail links approximately 300 acres of South Peabody’s city-owned open space properties. The connected open spaces help enable wildlife movement and support ecosystem processes. Walking along the trail, you can observe some of the flora and fauna that live here or use this area as a resting stop on their migratory route.
