About this Location

Fisk Pond is an extension of Lake Cochituate and part of the Sudbury-Assabet-Concord watershed. The Lake Cochituate System starts with water flowing out of Fisk Pond in the south. There is a dam that prevents any boats from passing between the pond and the lake.

Fisk Pond is surrounded by trees and there are edges along Dell Park Cemetery, MA-135, and Speen Street, with a few nooks and crannies to explore. Waterfowl swim around and can make quite a ruckus by splashing dozens of feet at a time. You can see plenty of fish in the water. Beaver have built an impressive lodge.

There is a boat ramp on West Central Street.
