East Street Cemetery is a historic burial site in Petersham. It is located about 0.6 miles outside the town center, on a U-shaped road with three sections of East Street. There are two entrances to the cemetery, which has approximately 1400 graves. The cemetery dates back to the 18th century and contains the remains of many prominent citizens of Petersham, as well as veterans of various wars. The cemetery is surrounded by woods.
