Lake Lashaway covers an area of 293 acres. The lake has a public boat ramp on MA-9 and a private beach for residents. The lake is mostly surrounded by year-round homes and cottages, with only 10% of the shoreline undeveloped.
Lashaway comes from a Native American name meaning “Good Fishing”.
Boat access is available through a paved ramp at the north end of the pond off Harrington Street. Shore access is limited to the area adjacent to the ramp and along MA-9 on the south shore.
