Lunenburg Town Forest is a natural that consists of two sections: the Large Town Forest and the Small Town Forest. The forest offers trails for hiking, biking, and snowmobiling, as well as scenic views of streams, wetlands, and wildlife. Mulpus Brook flows through the woods. 

The Lunenburg Town Forest conservation property northwest of Hickory Hills Lake is owned by the Town of Lunenburg. It is 527 acres.
