100 Acre Wood is within the Trails in the Wood trail system.
The Trails in the Wood trail system was developed for the purpose of education and recreational opportunities. The trails were designed for walking, X-C skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking (not allowed in winter), maple sugaring, and nature observation. You can take a walk and read a story on our Storybook Trail and experience great children’s stories in a unique way. It’s a wonderful way for the family to read and play together. We feel that early exposure to simple outdoor activity in a family setting will encourage lifelong healthy habits. Exercise for the brain and body. The trails are open from 9am – 4pm or whenever the gate is open.
