100 Acre Wood is within the Trails in the Wood trail system.

The Trails in the Wood trail system was developed to provide education and recreational opportunities. The trails were designed for walking, X-C skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking (not allowed in winter), maple sugaring, and nature observation. You can take a walk and read a story on our Storybook Trail and uniquely experience great children’s stories. It’s a wonderful way for the family to read and play together. We feel that early exposure to simple outdoor activities in a family setting will encourage lifelong healthy habits. Exercise for the brain and body. The trails are open from 9 am to 4 pm or whenever the gate is open.
