Berry Pond covers an area of 55 acres and is surrounded by views of the Sandwich Mountains. Berry Pond is popular for ice racing in the winter when members of the Lakes Region Ice Racing Club test their skills on the frozen surface. However, ice conditions can be unpredictable and sometimes dangerous, as a tragic accident in 2022 showed. Berry Pond also has a heliport nearby, which provides aeronautical services and facilities. 

Berry Pond is located on Whittier Highway (NH-25). There is shore access on the south end of the pond from Whittier Highway.
