Situated on Tin Mountain Conservation Center’s 138-acre Rockwell Sanctuary on Bald Hill Road  in Albany the Nature Learning Center (NLC) serves as a gathering place for the community and space for programs fostering natural science education and greater of community awareness and cooperation.

 Tin Mountain Conservation Center is an environmental education non-profit located in the Mount Washington Valley. Tin Mountain’s solar-electric and solar-thermal Nature Learning Center is surrounded by 140 acres of forest and fields and includes many hiking trails, an active beaver pond, 25 acres of mountain laurel, and the White Mountain National Forest as a neighbor.

The Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and has bathroom facilities and a natural history library to peruse. A Naturalist leads a weekly morning bird walk in May.

Directions from South on NH-16: There are two entrances to Bald Hill Rd on the left side of NH-16, take the second one after the Welcome to Mt. Washington Valley sign. Drive one mile on Bald Hill Road to the Nature Learning Center on the left.

Directions from Conway Village on NH-16: Leaving Conway Village, drive past the Kennett Middle School, over the railroad tracks, and through the NH-112 (Kancamagus Highway) traffic light. Bald Hill Road is the second right after the traffic light. Drive one mile on Bald Hill Road to the Nature Learning Center on the left.
