Ashuelot River Park (Project for Public Places) webpageSee Fall Birding in Keene (Bird Observer) article by Steven Lamonde.
This park is an oasis of green situated along a river within the city sprawl of Keene. It is an open space with quiet little nooks and gardens. The park is a trailhead for the bike and pedestrian path along the river. It has one of two pedestrian suspension bridges as a way to cross the river. There are falls that cascade over the old dam.
The AllTrails website has a description and map of a hike at Ashuelot River Park.
