Nye Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary is a property owned and managed by the New Hampshire Audubon Society. The sanctuary covers 83 acres of wetland and forest habitats and provides opportunities for wildlife watching, hiking, and fishing. The sanctuary is home to many bird species, such as wood ducks, great blue herons, belted kingfishers, and swamp sparrows. Nye Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary is open to the public year-round, but visitors are asked to follow some guidelines to protect the wildlife and the environment. Dogs are not allowed, and hunting, trapping, camping, and fires are prohibited. Visitors should stay on the existing trails and respect the natural beauty of the sanctuary.
