Akers covers an area of 276 acres and has a maximum depth of 26 feet. It is fed by Greenough Brook and drains into Clear Stream, which eventually joins the Androscoggin River. 

Akers Pond is located north of Colebrook Road (NH-26). There is a boat ramp on Akers Pond Road.
