Mount Crescent Trail is a 3.1-mile circular trail near Randolph. It is a hard trail that offers scenic views of the White Mountains and the Crescent Range. The trail starts at the Cook Path trailhead and follows the Peek Trail to the junction with the Mount Crescent Trail. The loop can be done in either direction, but clockwise is steeper at the top. The trail passes through forest, rocky terrain, and overgrown areas. There are two viewpoints along the loop, one at the south peak and one at the north peak. The south peak has a better view and is warmer, while the north peak has a bench to rest on. The trail is popular for hiking, but it can also be used for cross-country skiing in winter. The trail conditions may vary depending on the season and weather, so it is advisable to check before going.
The AllTrails website has a description and map of a hike using the Mount Crescent Trail.
