This section of the SRKG is a mixture of well-developed wooded trails and woods-logging roads with one uphill section. From an elevation of approximately 1200 feet at NH-4A, it rises up to 1800 feet at the summit of Bog Mountain and finishes at 900 feet elevation in Wilmot Center. Deer, turkeys, bears, and moose have been seen by hikers on this trail.

The western trailhead is just off NH-4A, where Trail 6 intersects at School House Road, 2.4 mi. west of North Wilmot Road. Parking is available at this location. The eastern trailhead uses the parking area at Wilmot Town Hall. From NH-11 go 3 miles west on NH-4A and turn right on North Wilmot Road. The Town Hall is on the left after about 80 yards.

The Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge (SRK) Greenway Trail is a 75-mile loop of hiking trails in central New Hampshire. The Greenway Trail System circles the Lake Sunapee area and connects Sunapee, Ragged, and Kearsarge Mountains.

The Greenway’s mission is to create and maintain a forever green, great circle of trail corridors and conserved lands providing walkers with minimally-developed access to the mountains, lakes, vistas, and historical sites of the Lake Sunapee Region.
