Loiselle Conservation Area, 45 acres, is located on Wadleigh Falls Road (NH-152). The area was purchased by the town of Newmarket in 2003 for conservation purposes. The property protects 1,900 feet of riparian habitat along the Piscassic River, an important tributary to the Lamprey River. The conservation area offers recreational opportunities including walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, running, nature observation, hunting, and fishing. The trail leads through a hayfield and an Appalachian oak-pine forest and connects to the Follet's Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, a 57-acre parcel managed by New Hampshire Audubon.
