About Hooksett
Hooksett is a town in Merrimack County. The town is located between Manchester, the state’s largest city, and Concord, the state capital.
Hooksett is situated on the Merrimack River in south-central New Hampshire. I-93 connects Hooksett to the White Mountains and Boston. Hooksett lies fully within the Merrimack River watershed.
The town has a total area of 37.5 square miles.
The highest point in Hooksett is Quimby Mountain, at 902 feet above sea level, near the town’s western border. On the town’s eastern border, a ridge ascending towards Hall Mountain in neighboring Candia reaches 900 feet above sea level.
