Birds of Interest

This park is significant for Providence County birders in Rhode Island. Given it's geographic position of being one of the southernmost parks along the Narragansett Bay in the county, it's the best place to attempt to find birds such as Common Eider, Red-throated Loon, and Horned Grebes within Providence County. While these species are common further south along the coast, they can be challenging to find in Providence County which is more inland.
