This hotspot (and the nearby Ninigret Pond Mudflats) are arguably one of the best spots for shorebirds and terns in Rhode Island.

During the active camping season there is a fee to access this breachway. Restrooms are available during the summer months. This hotspot is often used to access the nearby Ninigret Pond Mudflats.
