Tips for Birding

Formerly the reservoir for the city of Vergennes, the Waterworks Property in Bristol is now managed for educational and recreational purposes by the non-profit Watershed Center. The property’s mix of shrubland, mature woods, pond, and stream attract a wide variety of bird species. Its bird-attracting properties have made this an outstanding site for our annual Warbler Warm-Up event in May.
