About Caseys Hill
Tucked away in the valley between the foothills and the flanks of Mount Mansfield itself, Casey’s Hill is part of a public land easement that recognizes the value of outdoor recreation. The hill is primarily used for sledding and features several aspects with varying degrees of steepness. The hill can be challenging for younger users because the descent from the parking lot to the base of the hill is quite steep and the gentler slopes are accessed by crossing below the steeper hill. Despite this, Casey’s Hill is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, with spectacular views of Mount Mansfield providing a backdrop to family fun.
