Lake Mansfield is a small but scenic lake in Stowe surrounded by the Green Mountains. It is part of the Lake Mansfield Trout Club, a private fishing club that dates back to 1899. The lake is the starting point for the Lake Mansfield Trail, a moderate hike that leads to the Taylor Lodge on the Long Trail.
Lake Mansfield (35 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
