Harriman Pond covers about 20 acres and has a shoreline of nearly half a mile. The pond is ideal for recreational pursuits such as fishing, boating, and birdwatching. The pond is surrounded by a forest resource with scattered meadows, old apple trees, mossy ledge runs, two streams, and mature woods. The forest is home to various species of fir, spruce, pine, and cedar. The pond is also rimmed with wetland vegetation, creating a diverse habitat for wildlife.
