Seymour Lake is a freshwater lake covering 1,769 acres of surface area. It is the second largest lake entirely within the state of Vermont. The lake has a maximum depth of 167 feet and a shoreline of 10 miles. It is fed by seven main brooks and drains into Echo Lake, which eventually flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The Seymour Lake Association is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and environmental condition of the lake and its watershed.
