Curtis Pond is a 72-acre lake that was formed by a dam built in 1900 on a tributary to Pekin Brook. The pond is a popular destination for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and ice skating, and it supports a diverse wildlife habitat, including a resident loon.
Curtis Pond (72 acres)is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
